Philadelphia and Plaridel Have Made It: Names from the December 2007 Licensure Exam for Dentists

Of the 879 who completed the December 2007 Licensure Exam for Dentists, 317 (36.06%) passed.

Excluding the five people whose sex I could not determine from a quick search of social media or news articles, the passers included 241 women and 71 men.

The Women

Among the women, 118 (48.96%) had only one given name, 115 (47.72%) had two, seven (2.90%) had three, and one (0.41%) had four.

First Given Names

The most popular initials for the first given name were M (51, 21.16%), J (29, 12.03%), A (23, 9.54%), K (18, 7.47%), C (14, 5.81%), and R (tied with C). No one had a first given name that started with O, Q, U, or X.
