Jearemmy and Unalee are Lawyers Now: Names from the 2010 Bar Examinations

Of the 4,847 who completed the Philippine bar exams in 2010, 982 (20.26%) passed.

Excluding the three people whose sex I failed to determine from a quick search of social media or news articles, the passers included 461 women and 518 men.

The Women

Among the women, 213 (46.20%) had only one given name, 227 (49.24%) had two, 20 (4.34%) had three, and one (0.22%) had four.

First Given Names

The most popular initials for the first given name are M (101, 21.91%), J (48, 10.41%), C (44, 9.54%), A (35, 7.59%), and R (35, 7.59%). No one had a first given name that started with Q, U, or X.
